So today my friends and I play tested Devil Survivor Risk! It was really fun ^p^

The board was accidentally printed too large, but it turned out to be beneficial in the end because we found that some areas were too small to contain a fair amount of units (read: Yamato and a bunch of soldiers 8|)

Here’s a bunch of pictures of the game, taken by razirune! There were four factions on the field: Hiro, Yamato, Amane and Naoya. My brother played as the Septentriones. The Septentriones’ bases weren’t completed at the time hence them laying flat on the board.

The outcome of the game: First to be eliminated was Yamato’s faction, as Yamato was directly attacked by Daichi who somehow managed to wipe him and a sizable number of soldiers out. Later on, Amane directly attacked and defeated Naoya, and Amane herself was then defeated by Megrez, leaving Hiro as the last faction leader standing.

There are still a couple of balancing issues, and the map itself needs tweaking (thankfully it doesn’t cost anything to print,) but it was pretty damn fun. Especially when a lone peon defeated one Megrez body upon landing. That was hilarious.
